Spend the day at Haywood Community College exploring fishing at the Mill Pond, build‑your‑own rod stations, archery, fly‑tying, fish crafts, nature exhibits, wildlife education, virtual reality experiences, the Cold Mountain Rifle Range, and a wide range of conservation partners — plus food trucks to keep you fueled. It’s a free, all‑ages celebration of outdoor learning and discovery. Visitors interested in the Intercollegiate Woodsmen’s Meet happening the same day can find exact times at the Haywood Community College website.
